I just received from my close neighbour EJ 3one6 razor as he wasn’t using it as much due to his overflowing collection lol...Very Thankful and Happy to have little rotation  Happy2

All I have to say I’m impressed with this razor shaves fantastic no nicks or cuts I’m speechless actually wow.

It’s well made tolerances are tight top cap and baseplate is phenomenal even the handle of the razor well balanced and well made by EJ..

Not sure what you think of this razor but in my view and opinion it’s a Sleeper and great shaving instrument for its price, presentation 10/10.

Kind Regards

Alan H

The efficiency level of the 3one6 is everything I wanted the D89/R89 to be. It really is a wonderful razor.

That blue handle is a stunner next to your WW brush. Great setup and glad it worked so well for you.

I love the de89, but found it not efficient enough. I'm guessing this is the improvement on it. I've read it isn't the same design, still if it provides the smoothness of the 89 with better performance, that's a winner.

Hope the your day goes as well as that shave. Happy Friday!

I agree, Alan. I have the same in blue. They are really nice quality razors.

It shaves very differently, but with similar results to the Muhle Rocco.

Thank you well it happens to be blue handle given to me lol and it’s matches nice I’m quite happy with it set up is amazing I got little stand from aliexpress for it to keep it and plastic sleeve to protect the head of razor.

I never tried D89 I know Kevy Shaves made video on YouTube while back and I never payed much attention to it actually heard it’s nice smooth razor with black 3D printed handle looks wonderful tho.

EJ 3one6 is very smooth razor I shaved twice with it and I was blown away with results no nicks cuts just stunning shaver.

Top cap and Baseplate is better finished in my view and opinion than Tatara. It’s a Sleeper as I mentioned and no one pays much attention to it.

Give it a try I’m sure you’ll be happy but again YMMV.

Take care & Stay Safe

Hi

Thanks for reply great to know   Happy2 I never tried Muhle Rocca is it aggressive razor? I seen one with Birch handle and I kinda like it but not sure how it would shave compare to 3one6.

So far I’m enjoying my 3one6 very nice results and Quality is there that’s for sure and Finish wow really nice I was shocked actually.

I got the same blue handle 3one6.. I like it too...actually had the de89 with the 3d diamond black handle until a few weeks ago too...finally decided to sell it and replaced it with
..guess what...the yaqi closed comb scalloped head...similar head to the de89 but much better shaver in my opinion.

The 3one6 though is a big step up in aggression from the de89 by Edwin Jagger
..works very well....sometimes I find the handle too slim and not that comfortable to hold but I enjoy the shave....

The razorock lupo .95 however beats it in my opinion.

Thanks for the input and you said it all dead on lol I love this 3one6 among with my Karve & Charcoal Goods and it shaves even better than timeless it’s just what I find in my view tho..

This is 4th shave I had and my gosh just perfect shave even Gillette fusion won’t give me this nice smooth shave..

As per skinny handle I love it actually it’s very nice it’s something I prefer like when I had my CG Hammered SS handle was supper nice in hand feels great and with EJ blue aluminum handle I find perfect balance with it. Happy2

I also don’t find it aggressive at all it’s a perfect balance actually..

Very happy I been given this razor to me as actually I can use it and not collect dust lol.

I haven’t tried razorock Lupo 95 yet was thinking to get 72 Lupo but if it’s the same shave as on EJ 3one6 on 95 good to know I might consider it in near future...

Take care

I did not mean to indicate that the 3one6 was aggressive..i love the level of aggression and blade feel...was.just comparing it to the de89 and how edwin jagger has upped the aggression here..

I really do love the 3one6...In one of my shaves, i found the handle a little difficult to work with..It is a beautiful razor and I plan to keep it in my rotation for a long time ....

The lupo .95 ...you must try if you get a chance.........if you like the 3one6, you probably will love that
