A big part of the problem is that EBay does no policing even on reported listings. I’ve flagged several listings and try to give clear info on what is BS about it , but they always just reply saying they’ve “investigated” and don’t see any issues / aren’t doing anything.
*Editing to add that I really wonder if they actually even make buyers whole with their “eBay money back guarantee.” I can see a buyer providing clear proof that an item received was grossly misrepresented in the listing and still not getting them refunded.

That’s good to hear! I’ve never had to try, but for example if I didn’t know what this was and I bought it and received a razor that clearly isn’t stainless, I’d like to think that ebay would get it refunded quickly and not make me submit a metal test or something crazy
