The STAR DE remains one of my all-time favorite razors, double or single edge. A very basic razor, the shave it produces for me, compared to the Gillette Tech, which was most likely its direct competitor, is day to night.

The STAR DE remains one of my all-time favorite razors, double or single edge.  A very basic razor, the shave it produces for me, compared to the Gillette Tech, which was most likely its direct competitor, is day to night.

From seller's description:

"Offered is one Star Double Edge Safety Razor in original box with 3 packs of Star 6NX blades (12 total blades). Razor is gold color and New Old Stock, has never been used before. Box shows wear, please see photos as this is exact razor you will receive."

The seller has relisted his vintage Brooks Brothers shaving soap, and I ordered a couple more. He accepted my offer of $22 each plus shipping, so I got the two blocks for $56. Since they're 6.8 ounces each, that's equivalent to paying $14 shipped for a regular 3.4 ounce puck - a great bargain for a soap that IMO is equal in quality to vintage Floris and Penhaligon's.

yeah, it happens. I'm sure we'll see stuff on the b/s/t from the Movember lots.

While I find some other behavior (like buying wolfman handle for 90 from forum BST and selling for >250) not so great, he can certainly try to sell from his Movember lot. It is not possible for someone to like every single thing that comes with the lot.

If donors of these Movember lots is ok with that, then there is no problem. Maybe they didn't expect to see their items on bidding sites...

By the way, when I was looking for a BBS-1 a few weeks ago, before I eventually got one, this seller had one on Ebay for 1000$. LOL. I really don't want to say what I am thinking about flipping items. Problematic behaviour at least.

It's no worse than someone selling a PIF and we've all seen that here and no one seemed to have issues with it.

If someone buys and pays for an auction lot, why not sell the stuff you don't like. He shouldn't have to give it away.
