DOVO have taken more than a century of shaving knowledge and condensed this into two years of development to produce the PRIMO I safety razor.

The head of the razor is manufactured using the zinc die-casting process, which allows for very precise manufacturing tolerances and complex shapes. the retail on those two razors are typically $100+, are you sure those are good comps?

Dovo owns Merkur. Thus, it is difficult to tell if the Primo razor is significantly different than similar Merkur razors. The head design of the Primo razor appears to be similar to some Merkur razors and competing offerings from companies such as Muhle and Edwin Jager. The Primo razor might well be made in the Merkur factory with Dovo branding. That is not necessarily a bad thing as many people love Merkur razors. Just make sure you are not paying a premium for a box with Dovo printing on the sides,
