That's great stuff, Dave!  Are you scenting your lather(sorry, I'm a little behind on vids)?  I would imagine that vintage Williams has all the aroma of really old, dry sawdust. ?

I haven't and it can be a little stale at first but clears once you get past the top layer to me after a shave or 2. Thanks Happy2

It's a sad day in the KY Dave Den as the last bottle of the discontinued Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70 was used. RIP dear friend.........Okay now let's get on with this week !!

Martin de Candre original shaving soap. It was good, but I won't replace it because I have many others that I like just as much.

The rarest sight in all shavedom ... and empty jar of Martin de Candre. Got any pictures of Bigfoot in your backyard too?

I got a kick out of that Bouki . I figure I will ask John, churchilllafemme when you started really getting down to a small (last) chunk of the MDC, how easy was it to stay put while you loaded it? The end of my milled soaps are a pain at the end to load with success without making clown soap (if you catch my drift). I know MDC isn't milled but it's high stearic and coconut oil and wonder how it finished off, maybe it softens up a bunch or maybe it gets a bit grainy if it dries enough. One man's curiosity leads to this post, forgive me if it's too much.  Big Grin

Actually, it never got so hard that I couldn't mash it flat against the bottom of my scuttle bowl, even at the very end.

I think I’m calling it on this puck of Mike’s (bergamot/orange/ylang-ylang), probably a couple shaves left in the ring but I feel like I’m getting to the point of diminishing returns in trying to get the brush to pick it up  Cool
