I don't see a way for me to post a new thread so this will have to do.

Krampert's Finest is closing it's "doors". It's been coming for some time. I designed my splashes for myself, handed some out to others and next I knew it turned into a business. I figured OK, as long as it's fun I'll continue. It has since become a J O B. I'm retired. I don't want a job. I considered selling it, but I designed my products for myself. I didn't build this to sell. So I made the decision; the website is coming down.

Odd you should be able to post a thread. Not in the vendor section, I believe that's for paid vendors. Still, in soap or AS or some sort of more general location?

Nonetheless, that sucks, but absolutely understandable. You got to enjoy your retirement, do things for you, etc. You worked your whole life and you earned it.

Good luck and happy retirement (for real this time!).

Good luck, Brian, and enjoy your second retirement...

Brian, thanks for all you've done for wet shaving and Bay Rum over the years - I posted a notice over on my Bay Rum thread as I hadn't seen this post until now.  Bay rum can be a hard road to follow but those of us that get it and love it love it a lot.  Yours is a classic and I thank you. I hope you will stay involved on DFS as I have always enjoyed your perspective.

I will. I'd have made a stand alone thread re: it but I have not seen a way to start a thread in a very long time. I can post to existing threads but that's all. It's no big deal.

I always read your commentary on Tobacco “scented” products...whether sweet, dry, spicy, rich, etc... I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed with your reviews, not even a little.  Recently, you did a mini-commentary about a sweet/rich tobacco scented product, pshhht, didn’t even make it into my bathroom, sitting on the kitchen counter.  I appreciate your honesty!
