Don't want to upset anyone wait on a Wolfman

One would not sell a property for lower than it's current market value.
So why do that for a razor?

Wolfman grapes are sour indeed for me. I had stopped feeling fascinated by their razors 5yrs back .

You don't shave with the website. If you've ever shaved with a Wolfman, you will understand.

I have shaved with a WR2. It was good, but as you might expect in this rather subjective hobby of ours, it was not all that great for me. I much prefer the shave of an Aluminum Lupo (as an example). After a week of trying a WR2 (borrowed from a friend), I came to the conclusion that it's a really well-made razor that is definitely not worth more than about $100 to me. Since it costs more than that, I would not buy one. 

The website could definitely use more polish. (Ha, ha! Get it?  )

Let's add his initial price for the WR1 here. People were able to purchase WR1 mirror-polished razor for 200 Canadian dollars.

Around that year, prices for razors: Blackbird Razor $160, Timeless SS $185, and ATT SS $185.

Those were the days...before we started comparing these razor makers to Michelangelo and Da Vinci

Lots of Razors that do good job sub $100.00.
Both a Yugo & Porsche are Cars.

Both are transportation.  Buddy just bought a Lamborgini now he dumping money into it.  

To make it how he wants it.  $4,500 to Powder Coat Wheels, not a big deal if you got millions.

Yep, they're tools. A Porsche is a nice machine, but for my daily commute I'll take my Honda Accord. It does the same job and I am more relaxed about driving my Accord. 

I'm not immune to wasting money on 'premium' stuff. I once bought a custom Tim Zowada Damascus straight razor. It was lovely! He dug up the ore, smelted the metal and forged a gorgeous razor. When I got it, I was astounded at its beauty. 

After using it for a few months, I realized that it didn't shave any better than the Sta-Sharp I found in an antique store. So I sold the Zowada, and I have never regretted doing so. 

When I used the Wolfman I came to the same conclusion. It's well-made, but I could find a lot of razors in the $20-$50 range that I like better as users. Since I hadn't bought mine, I had no incentive to justify wasting my money on the thing and I just returned it to its owner. I haven't used every Wolfman, and it may be possible that there may be one I like better than the WR2 I tried, but I doubt it will be worth more than a $100 investment to me. That's not where the market value is, so I will happily live on without one. 

People with more money to spend will of course spend it however they like, and using it on a Wolfman or BBS-1 is perfectly legitimate. I do get a little skeptical when they try to convince others that those items are objectively worth those amounts though (as a shaving tool). My BS meter starts tingling about then.

Im not sure I agree entirely with the car analogy.

Any car can get you from A to B.

Not all razors, however, can get you from A to BBS
