The default browser is Firefox 52.3.0 ESR x86 en-US.

I was unable to find any information on Explorer or Chrome.

This only happens here at DFS. Sorry to be such a pain! I appreciate your efforts.

When I recently posted an item in the BST and was able to work around the problem by manually typing in the [img][/img] then inserting the web address for the photos. However, I have no idea how I could work around the missing buttons for bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, etc. that are also located in the toolbar.

Interesting that I just now logged off my PC and logged back in as administrator (something similar to safe mode, I guess?) and the toolbar is present and not disappearing as it does when I log into the normal. Understanding any of this is far above my technical skills. I must have a setting somewhere that is causing this.

Hmm, curious that it behaves that differently when you’re logged in as the administrator.

I mean, a lot of things to change when you do that, but I just can’t think what specifically would cause that behavior across your browsers. Perhaps Andrew will have a better idea.

For what it’s worth, the codes for bold, should you ever need to type them, are a "b" and a "/b" in brackets, and italics are "i" and "/i" also in brackets. Some of the other formatting codes can be more than just one letter.
