Hi all,

This will be the starting lot for the DFS Movember donation drive to help raise awareness and funds for men's health issues that'll run from November 3rd to November 9th at 11:59pm EST.  I'll lock the thread at 12am EST.

In order to win the lot, just reply to this thread with your pledge to donate the most money, as often as you want, for the items shown below.  Donations will be sent directly to the Damn Fine Shave Movember team page.  After the week is over (November 9th @ 11:59pm EST), I'll send a PM to whoever pledged to donate the most.  Once the payment is sent to Movember team page and I confirm it, I'll ship out the items to the winner.

**Please note that if you pledged to donate the most money for a lot that has an alcohol based aftershave in it or anything that is prohibited from being sent outside of the United States, I'll need to pull those items before shipping it per the current laws.  I apologize for this!**

If you wish to donate money without being involved in the shaving supply lots, you can do so directly on the team page here.

This lot includes items that were graciously donated by the following people (If I forgot someone, please shoot me a PM!):

I think some have forgotten the purpose of the annual Movember campaign.  I thought I'd past an excerpt from the Wiki page on the subject.  This is or should be a campaign that resonates with our membership.

Movember (a portmanteau of the Australian-English diminutive word for moustache, "mo",[1] and "November") is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancertesticular cancer, and men's suicide.[2] The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com.[3] The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men's health."[4]
By encouraging men (whom the charity refers to as "Mo Bros") to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. Besides annual check-ups, the Movember Foundation encourages men to be aware of family history of cancer and to adopt a healthier lifestyle.[5]
Since 2004, the Movember Foundation charity has run Movember events to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and depression, in Australia and New Zealand. In 2007, events were launched in IrelandCanadaCzech RepublicDenmarkEl SalvadorSpain, the United KingdomIsraelSouth AfricaTaiwan and the United States.[6][7][8][9] As of 2011, Canadians were the largest contributors to the Movember charities of any nation.[10] In 2010, Movember merged with the testicular cancer event Tacheback.[11]
In 2012, the Global Journal listed Movember as one of the world's top 100 NGOs (non-government organization).[12]
