I ordered a set this morning, along with a few of the other HAGS releases. Look forward to trying out the Trench Collaboration.

I was able to snag a brush.  I was torn between the T1 Manchurian Badger and Muhle STF, which each one having one of my two favorite handles.  While reviewing the Muhle, the badger sold making my decision easy.  This will definitely be the nicest synthetic I own and I look forward to using it.  

My set came in the mail today!

What is your initial impression of the scent? 

I have never used Hags before, but I like that they are offering a witch hazel based aftershave and Argan oil in the balm.

That handle is beautiful!  And it's a perfect match for The Trench label

Clean scent. I think it's definitely more prone to spring and summer wearing but its simple enough to wear year round if you're in an area that has fall & winter weather.

I love HAGS splashes, especially because they don't have alcohol. It's one of the very few brands of aftershaves where I've finished up an entire bottle in the past.

I have no used HAGS shaving soaps before but that'll be changing on Monday night when I use it.

Great artwork on both soap & splash but, it’s inside that should count. No disappointment here as the scent is fresh & vibrant while still having some depth that gives a modern classic vibe to it. Performance is excellent which is easy to lather and offers plenty of glide & slickness. HAGS & DFS got it right here. But, then again DFS has gotten it right with all their previous collabs that I’ve experienced.
