DFS collaboration with Black Mountain Shaving, going live on 11/17/23

My tub is on order as well. It seems that only the first batch of Horizons will be Kodiak. After that, it will be Aon. I ordered early to get the Kodiak, which I prefer, but AON is also a very nice base.

Same here.  My order confirmation email arrived at 10:02 EST.  When it comes to Kodiak, there is no upside to waiting when waiting can be avoided.

I actually knew that, but I couldn't find a hot rod cartoon that said "Dave got the other one".

This looks like another winner, the soap base is super and the scent profile on paper is quite layered

I ordered this today. Lost track of the date. I first tried on Shave Supply but it wouldn’t ship it to Canada. Apple Pay transaction failed which only happens when they won’t ship to Canada. Not to worry though, I was able to complete the transaction on Murphy and MacNeil. Now I wait a month 

I ordered the soap, balm, and soap bars today on Murphy & McNeil. They even have discount coupons. Such a deal! And I really needed another shaving soap.

My tub of Horizons arrived today. My wife confiscated the soap for Christmas, but not before I got to smell it off the tub. It is a beautiful aroma with a rich, complex scent I suspect it will open up once lathered and be even better. I am glad I ordered early to get the Kodiak base.

Been too long since using my Vintage Single edge razors. The Gem Junior is a favorite and ths morning reminded me of a FACT. It gives an amazingly smooth and efficient shave. I get the allure of the pretty new machined razors in all the exotic metals. Hey I have a few too. But if you can't shave with one of these and get a good shave, I guarantee you that a $300, $400 or $500 Razor isn't going to shave you any better. Technique trumps tools. Another GREAT shave with the Horizons DFS Soap !! Have a great day Everyone !
