Well, another AD has struck like a viper. I walk and jog nearly every day, sometimes through nearby parks and sometimes on our treadmill, and somehow I got interested in walking/training/running shoes. After doing some research and identifying brands and models of shoes that I wanted to try, I began to grab some of them in used form on eBay, and now I have 7 pairs coming to me. I don't expect every one to be in top condition, and I don't plan to keep all of them; I definitely don't need a shoe collection. But I think this will give me a chance to see how they feel in my regular use and will give me some guidance for when I want to invest a lot more money in a brand new pair - or two...

Hey, why should I be the only one with an AD other than shaving gear (fountain pens, inks, and paper in my case). Tongue  Besides, something tells me we're not the only ones, John.

I think you have certainly chosen a clever way to go to decide what will work for you and I hope you find one or two pair that are outstanding.

I found a couple pairs that seem to work quite well for me, Nike Zoom Span and Nike Flex 2016 RN, an both still have lots of tread left, so I think I'm set for awhile.

I wish I could have more diversity when buying sneakers but when you're a size 13 in a 4e width with a high arch and an underpronator, you're quite limited..
