Is it possible to delete a thread you started?

yes, everywhere except in the b/s/t section.

How? Settings icon only let's me unsubscribe

it is under my profile, yes. regular users can only delete single messages (or all of their messages within a thread, really). the only way to delete an entire thread is if you're the creator of the thread itself. once you delete the first post, it deletes the entire thread.

keep in mind, if myself or another mod feels like the thread/post(s) should be restored, we can do so if we want.
