I seen lots of reviews of declaration grooming soaps and would like to know what’s their most popular soap by scent slickness

I like to get one used soap by them to try I’m new into this and learning something new everyday day with help of others and opinions

Thank you

This is really based on your scent preferences. Most of the popular soaps are seasonal releases. Mine is 88 Chestnut st.

From my experience, the slickness does not vary by scent

Massacre of The Innocents

The current soap base, Milksteak is pretty darn slick and awesome but the previous base, Icarus is excellent too. The Bison base before that as well and so was the original. There is a trend. DG soap is excellent  Happy2

The best scent, hands down, is Yuzu Rose Patchouli IMHO. This collaboration with Chatillon Lux is a classic and is in my top soap scent list. I have four Milksteak soaps and they all perform at a top tier level. My Milksteak soaps also include Weinstrasse, Le Petite Prairie, and B Cubed. I also have a number of other DG soaps in prior bases. One favorite is Dirtyver which I have in Icarus.

That’s awesome I only had this sample Yuzu, rose,Patchuli and would love to find used one here on DFS

Also I don’t have or never had Declaration Grooming as my eyes were only on Barrister and Man line of soaps as I enjoy em so much

I look to find some used soaps to try here on DFS by declaration grooming.

Thank you for reply

YRP is a really good one. I feel like Trimegustus is probably the safest bet for most.

I like Trismegistus a lot. I have it in the Bison Tallow base. I don't think you can go wrong with that one either and it is now available in Milksteak.

"Trismegistus follows in the footsteps of the legendary perfumers at Hermes. Featuring top notes of grapefruit and orange, accented by heart notes of flint, pink peppercorn, geranium, and supported by base notes of benzoin, vetiver, and cedar, this is a scent that's masculine, mellow, and perfect for any situation. Between the scent, slickness, and post-shave, you'll understand why we named it "thrice great."

I would also like to add a disclaimer. Whenever someone like myself proclaims a particular scent is the best scent, it is entirely a matter of subjective opinion. Reasonable people can differ on these things so take my opinion with a grain of salt. That said, there is a reason Declaration Grooming brings certain scents back in the newest base time after time.

I too had Trismegistus in bison tallow. If I didn't have so many Hermes dupes at the time I would have kept it. Now I'll need to get it again in a newer base as I culled the others I had from my lineup.
