Declaration Grooming Bison Tallow?

Does anyone know if the Bison Tallow base is being phased out for the Icarus base?

I know the Icarus base has received very high praise by some (mostly YouTubers TBH) but I much prefer the Bison Tallow base.

No, but all new releases will be Icarus. The current original scents will remain in the bison base.

Rob, I have several scents in each of these soap bases, and although the Icarus is outstanding, I also find that the bison tallow is still the one I prefer even more.

Jeff, your comment was reassuring. I wasn’t sure about what was happening, either. I did recently see mention of Scott (the maker) not feeling well. I hope he is able to rest well and recover quickly.

Declaration Grooming is on my extremely short list of very favorite soap brands, and I too was concerned about all the "out of stock"s I saw recently. Hopefully Scott will be hale, hearty, and back in production soon.

I have bloomed them in the past and it hasn't made much difference.

I must be doing something wrong as I can't see why anyone would rave about it.

Icarus needs a TON of water. The residual slickness and post shave is what sets it apart for me. Bison might be slicker though tbh.

My understanding about this atm is that all the Chatillon Lux collabs will stay in bison and that Scott is switching over his scents that he’s created over to Icarus. So for instance I am thinking this spring if Bandwagon comes back it’ll be in Icarus. That’s just a hypothetical. I didn’t hear that via an email or info release. The special releases he does with Shawn are also being put out in Icarus so the upcoming Sni Mato will be in Icarus as well.

Nope. Scott's original bison tallow scents are staying in that base.
