That razor and brush were so made for each other. What a great pic Dave!

Thank you Paul, it keeps me from using the brass handle from Claudio as much as I'd like too.

Only 3 boar days left, we must choose wisely before we reacquaint ourselves with the other brushes!

Well. As I'm as impatient as they come, I barely waited 24 hours before hitting the newest Maggards boar with a break-in lather.

I can attest it is quite soft, right out of the box. Additionally, no lost hairs on lather #1. I think (hope) we have a winner with this one.

This brush is definitely in line to finish off DecemBoar. Like they say, "finish strong"... You can't get any stronger than a custom brush (that can double as a weapon!) by Fluffy. [Image: 0837c17e91dd7963b64d21c199a7be76.jpg]

I am glad that I was in between coffee mugs when I read this!  Happy

The more it's used, the softer it gets! But isn't that how many of our favorite boars are.

Shave felt a little off, but I was lazy, so prep was almost nonexistent, and I didn't soak the brush, just wet the bristles, shook out excess water, and started loading on the puck. In the end, I am really comfortably shaved and refreshed, just feeling not quite there. I did decamp to the first floor 3/4 bath, and so maybe just the combo of different locale and not my normal preparedness!
