Awesome performance - 28mm Omega (bleached?) knot. Smooth, efficient, and all hairs remain intact. I'm truly enjoying DecemBoar this year. By my calendar there are 5 more shaves - including Christmas and New years Eve. The fun has just begun!

Overlander - Personna - MacDuffs - blah blah (lol). Have a great evening folks![Image: dec4473e8807444e8d3e9533383a13a2.jpg]

Wow, you can really see the split ends on those hairs! That looks comfy already and will only get better with time. So glad you have made yourself an awesome brush, Paul!

Unfortunately, it lost three hairs this time. So, I'm sticking with this one again for Tuesday. I'm praying it is slowing down and will be fully intact for a shave soon. It's not that I couldn't easily replace the knot, but this one looks super cool and was a present... the added sentiment is high up on my list.

So, please keep our fingers crossed folks. [Image: 7eb11e31517a5ee142b330b9a97d7af0.jpg]

Two things. First, I seem to have been remiss in "liking" your posts. WTH?! You have used some very festive backgrounds and I am enjoying them very much! Second, I think the shedding of a hair or two can be normal for boars, especially if it has been a while since the last use. This is just my observations of my boars (two "old" and two recent additions). Dave would most likely have more experience with this phenomena over his many years of shave experiences, but my limited experience is 1 or 2 is not worrisome, and I don't think  I have had it on consecutive days unless the knot was brand new. For knots that have had weeks of no use, I like to soak them for a few hours prior to the day I plan to use them. Probably no good reason, but hey, it's fun to enjoy playing with my toys!!

Thanks Eric. The backgrounds are whatever this app can do quickly ... "Polish Photo Editor Pro". I'm glad others are enjoying them. The 28 definitely had a good number of splits and is quite smooth at this point.

Great minds think alike ... My Boars get almost daily soaks since I started in December. I'll even lather them sometimes with Hand soap, just to get the full experience. As I'm an every other day shaver, this is probably good for them to keep hydrated and nimble. Lol.

Yeah, I'm not worried anymore about the hair loss, now that it dropped back to 1. I figure it's probably normal, especially since I did a transplant and probably jogged it a bit. The traumatic things I put my brushes through. Lol.

Nice looking brush, and I am digging the handle! The sway is from how guys used to leave the brush in a mug, I assume. How's it work for you?
