Beauty- Allen Long knot?

Thank you. It is, indeed, Allen Long’s knot. If I am not mistaken, this is the last Reserve V knot ever.

Wow - that was fast.  Glad I got one - and congrats!

I was in the neighborhood of TheShaveSupply yesterday and had to stop in, I'm not up that way very often and hadn't been able to visit in a couple years. If you're ever nearby (Thousand Oaks) I highly recommend checking it out, Gareth is such a cool guy and they have a really neat space with the barbershop and everything. I managed to maintain my willpower and just let myself walk out with a SW EDT and some blades; I'm on a software buying hiatus but I figure frags are different right? 

Thanks for popping by Jesse, I didn't know you were a DFS member! I woulda shown you the DFS Collab that andrewjs18 just recently made with Black Mountain Shaving and Murphy & McNeil.

Couple things arrived today...

1st a brush to reknot from the generous Paul mrdoug I actually thought I'd try more to break the boar in but it actually shed hairs on it's trip to me as seen next to it. A timberwolf knot should look good in it Thanks Paul !

2nd since the Salient Pass around is done I get the honor of having that razor. Thanks for the trade Mike dtownvino !!

Yea, it made it! Glad it will get a new life. However, all thanks go to Mike HighSpeed . He was very generous and sent it to me in a batch of boar's. I simply helped connect it to its final destination. Lol.

My ABC Empire Set arrived yesterday evening and I'm ecstatic about how it looked and how well it cleaned up. Only missing a blade bank which can be rectified easily.




Took a small section to see how it would respond and then a little bigger section.....





After about 10 minutes with some Autosol Polish she is ready to shave with and display !

I don't need it right now, but at this price I can't really resist. It's good for quite a while, so I'll just have plenty to last me into the new year.

Fwiw, I also had a coupon to bring that down another 10%. Some big-time deal hunting today!
