Lignum vitae (not sure if legit or Argentine)

It's a beauty. Heavy and aromatic. The artist set a brass pin into the bottom which looks nice I think. The smooth finish is excellent. Here it is with a loose knot for show. I'm actually considering a three band silvertip or perhaps a boar from whipped dog. It's going to the back of the line though as I have other projects on my workbench that I would like to complete first.







Pretty happy for $25 from a quasi local shop

Rockwell 6S just came in the mail on Wednesday. Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar cream I got on the 8th. Very happy with both of these!

Lovely acquisitions, gentlemen.

These came about an hour ago and, ironically, I was on the phone to my friend in St. Louis, who sent them to me, when they arrived.  They were supposed to be a Christmas gift but because I will be flying to Buffalo on Christmas Day and I celebrate Chanukah instead and it just so happens to be Chanukah right now, I got to open the gifts now.
The iKon Mr. SE razor, Barrister & Mann shaving brush, shaving soap, and aftershave are already on tap for tomorrow's shave.  I was not expecting all this so I am really happy.

Early Christmas present from my wife!!! She was too excited to wait. Nothing to do with shaving but...
