A while back we had a customer stop by, and after making a purchase, he stood in the driveway staring at the barn. When asked if something caught his eye, he said he heard a rooster crow, but he had never heard one crow in real life besides TV. So it occurs to me from time to time that my farm life can be drastically different than many other ways of life. So I decided to take a retired phone and stick it in a phone holder with a clip I can hang on the fenceline etc to take rando 15-20 minute video clips of my critters interacting on their own. Different shots, different angles, different critters. No human voice or narration (if I can help it). So I set up a u-tube channel and posted my first video. I think it operational...My hope is to post one or 2 per week, time permitting.
In this video, I am releasing my ram to the ewes for the first time. This will give me lambs about the 3rd week of May. While they knew each other through the fence, this is their first interaction. Enjoy!
