I believe this to be a Vegan soap (CORRECTION , TALLOW). I may have pushed the water band on it since I was bowl lathering which isn't my normal method but do it for samples. Still got a great lather for an enjoyable shave. I'm not a Bay Rum connoisseur but this is a nice scent and opens up even more on lathering and applying to the face. The Brush feels great in my large hands and is gorgeous to look at. Beautiful workmanship by Gile at TSR. This was a group buy i entered as I was exiting there due to time constraints and miss the great guys there to interact with. Wish them all the best and hope Everyone has a great day !!

I believe this to be a Vegan soap (CORRECTION , TALLOW) but unsure as the ingredients aren't in English. Included a pic if someone is interested enough to translate for yourself. Yeah. There are so many great shavers in so many great forums that it is impossible to keep tabs on every one in a meaningful way.

BTW the HOFFRITZ caught my eye, and for two reasons.  First it looks a lot like a Weck.  Does it shave like one?  Second because I recall a time when you explicitly moved away from shavettes/straights.  Does this indicate a renewed interest Dave?

Dave's interest has never left completely. He loves the idea of shaving with one and keeps a couple around just to scratch the itch. He just never gets a shave close enough to satisfy himself. Why is he talking in the third person ? The Hoffritz I saw for the first time and never saw before which is a definite trigger for me to pick it up. I've had it a little while now. This wasn't it's first use and yes it shaves exactly like a wreck. It has a mechanism to slide and eject the blade which is pretty cool. It'll come out once in a blue moon but never anticipate it bring a regular thing to use for me. I get great shaves with safety razors so stick with them for the most part. Pull a shavette out sporadically to remind myself I can use it but not effectively. Thanks Mike

Did a video with the new camera this morning and an external Mic that ended up giving near zero volume. Uploading to see if fixable but feeling it's gonna be DOA. This is why I hate technology. May do next video without the external mic and the volume will be what it will be. SMH......Everyone have a great day !
