Svoll well the requirements changed now to 20 posts and 20 days. I didn't realize the software would not be able to recognize people already joined and trying to reach the requirements. You'll have the posts for sure as you are being a great active member but unfortunately there was no way to avoid the extra 6 days added to your wait. There have been numerous people joining and spamming nonsense posts to just get to the limit which necessitates the change which caught innocent people such as yourself as well. We appreciate your patience and our forum still has much less required than the majority if not all others. Hang in there

I finished reading all 432 pages of this thread and started on MaineYoopers journal, at about 30ish pages.

Allow me to say it was very informative and I had some great ideas on how to build my perfect razor.

The Timeless Razor you posted with the Super Halo is beautiful, that gave me an idea to purchase the super halo handle and look for a OC .68 base plate.
As for that axe, lol, try shaving with it =)

Quick Edit: You should demo the Merkur Futur and if you need one, i happen to have 2, willing to send it to you to demo!

That is a rare skill by Smattayu Eric Sorrentino and he's Legendary ! Although many have followed him, he's the 1st I remember doing it and I'll leave it to him. Hope he's well as he's been absent for awhile but I still enjoy a couple brushes from him and wish him the best !

Thanks for the video and damn! I shouldn't have watched it, now i am gonna hate myself everytime I complained about every minor detail of a razor ( handle too long, handle too short, balance of it is off, etc)

Here's a thought for you: any plan to video a shave up in a tree, and work in that beautiful axe somehow?!

Well if I can only figure out how all this works..... Action Camera (GoPro Knockoff), accessories kit and micro SD cards arrived today...no promises but an attempt will be made eventually if I can sort it all out.

Cool! I ask one favor: Safety First!! I know we kid you about it (like shaving with an axe!), but please don't risk your health, limbs, life, neck, etc to appease us in the peanut gallery!! Maybe only if Mrs Dave agrees it is ok. Too bad we couldn't get Fluffy to assist as your wingman!

Another helpful GEM comparison, thanks for this. BTW, your videos are starting to show up in my YouTube feed more regularly.

This whole evaluation with the Vestige has my thinking about vintage GEM razors again. Is there a vintage GEM you would recommend that could offer efficiency around the ++ plate of the Vestige, or an equivalent efficiency of say the Blackbird? I really love the aesthetic of the vintage GEMs with the ornate inscriptions or art deco style handles but perceived them to be on the milder side.
