Interesting brass razor I don't have much history on. Gimmicky as it just is a play on the Gillette Slide Stroke. I had someone say it's just a Gillette Old Type head with a strange handle. Stamping on the baseplate shows it isn't made by Gillette and that's why I included the 2nd pic. Have a great day everyone !

After being spurred on by MarkB to pick Ethos Shave MD soap andSplash for today's shave I figured I'd use the Lutin Brush acquired from Mark (Shave MD) and then complete the ensemble by using the Weck Med Prep Razor. I didn't intend it to be an afternoon shave but my FIL decided to add the ER to the ensemble at 6:30 so took him there before I had a shave or coffee. He's being treated and getting transferred to Lexington VA now to get his dialysis and follow up for a few days on the Pneumonia and Congestive Heart Failure. They say whenit rains it pours but no one ever says when the pouring stops.......Great shave with a great set up and hope all have a great day !

I selected and posted this shave last night but did not shave until this morning. I have had one of these shell handles and base plates without a top cap for quite some time actually a couple years. Finally was able to acquire a complete razor so I'd still like to find a top cap to complete the other one. What I will say is I could not believe how smooth and efficient this shave was. Wish I had gotten one much sooner and I so want the imperial pattern model now that I know how well this shaves. It's a shame they keep going for such stupid money especially when in a case.
