Needed a fresh blade and this tuck of Voskhod's that came with a razor recently was sitting on the shelf and so I went with it. I don't know what happened and will need to compare these to the sleeve of Voskhod's I have that I purchased. I find them to normally be a mild but sharp enough blade for me but this thing tugged like I remember the horror of the Graham Field blades that were trash. Switched out to a Wizamet and it was smooth sailing from there on out. Have a great day !

I'm with you Dave ... I have a pack of Voshkods I picked up some time ago. My recollection is similar: they were smooth and sharp enough, close to, but not as good as my Personnas. I'm guessing you maybe got a bum blade / tuck?

Another thought: From what I hear the Stirling is the kind of razor that needs to be registered as a weapon? Maybe it doesn't play well with Voshkods? Not a razor you want to get in an argument with. Lol.

Great recovery! I never seemed to have consistent shaves with the blade. And that is a nice looking razor, too!

Thanks Paul on comparing packaging to my older stash, packaging looks identical. Perhaps a bad blade or tuck as you said.
