Hahaha, thanks guys. Prop guy is getting replaced as he knocked the ceramic Razor guy off the counter and it shattered......

I gifted a 1959 SS to a dear family friend with a Cashmere synthetic knotted brush, Stirling Black Cherry soap and a Citrus Humphrey's Witch Hazel. He will be getting more (BETTER) gear after he gets his technique down pat first. I selected my gear today to be as close to the same as what he was using. I did a zoom shave this morning with him and he is now a convert. He just texted me to thank me and said he'll not be dreading shaving anymore and can't stop feeling his face and how smooth it is. He will only get better as he finds what works best for himself. Made my day and hope all you enjoy a good one as well !

Wonderful! Love that you were easily able to make a convert. Also, amazing idea doing a tandem shave with zoom.

What blade did you send him? I thought of that from your picture. The SI are nice blades, and I found from the one I've tested so far, they last quite a few shaves. Still, IMO, they're a bit on the sharper side. Did he start off with one of those, or something smoother?

Have a great day!
