Dave in KY's Videos and Hangout

Dad had another tree he needs down as it is wreaking havoc on his septic system. I popped by today with an arborist hand saw and climbed the tree to drop some of the tops off that where leaning over the house. Just did some peel cuts to get them to drop short of the house. I go back Thursday to finish it off with the chainsaws. He should have dropped this 10 years ago when the roots were encroaching the septic system and causing problems.......pain management tonight is Evan Williams Single Barrel.

Yikes. Waiting too long, will he have to replace / repair the septic system? The roots can rip right through the septic line, tank, etc... don't they?

No septic system here, so I don't have much experience there.

Yeah, he will need someone to replace some of the lines.

At 83 he would be out there again himself as he did it years ago when the tree should have been removed. His sons pleaded for him to show some RARE reasonableness and hire it out. Dave knows how but his back doesn't like it and Dad was told I saved him a few Hundred on tree removal since it was free and he'll need to pay a professional for that

Ya know Dave, I'm 45 and even if I knew what I was doing my body wouldn't likely take it. Bravo that Dad had the ability only a few years ago. Good genes there, for sure.
