Just bought a listed on the Bay as a "Schick Razor Antique From The Early 1900s" for $60 Pictures weren't great but was afraid to snooze on it and someone else snag it. Hope it's in good working condition......

Read about a way to use I think it was an AC Style blade and so have been watching for another to buy. Saw this listed for $10 or best offer. No other bids and I get it cheaper a $10 plus shipping......SCORE ! Now where did I read about using an AC Blade again?..............Off to hunt.

I have mine set up with an AC blade, a snip to fit and a plastic shim to improve the angle and fit.

Thanks Jeff. That's what I found when Googling. Snip, snip and a little shim for tension assistance and or angle.

Razor: Blackbird Titanium
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Vein Quartz/Horse
Soap: Sheep Fat Test Soap
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Nivea Deep
Fragrance: Amouage Journey
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,114

Another delightful use of the test soap and not much more to say about it. Just getting some more uses before final results are reported olschoolsteel The Horse on 2nd use was shedding like the 1st use. Hopefully it will slow down to a reasonable level or it may get swapped for a nice Boar. That'd be a shame as I'd like to have a horse in the stable..........(see what I did there) and it would be an appropriate handle to have one in. If it stays I may need a little horse figurine like my Boar and Badgers. The Titanium Blackbird just flat out works for me in spades which is so odd as I didn't care for it in SS at all. Have a great day Folks !

Great stuff there, Dave! Hope the shedding stops so the horse can be stabled! Your comments on the Ti Blackbird make me wonder if a Ti Vector would work for me!

Thankful for you, brother! Have a good day yourself!

Edit: after posting, I look at the Latest Posts, and see that Keith is selling his Ti Vector! Too funny!

I was in conversation with Keith keto this morning and that's what caused my use of the Blackbird. The SS Vector worked for me and I've considered getting another. I just don't know if the extra for the Ti Vector is warranted/Needed for me. If you can swing it it's worth a try. Titanium has such a nice feel on the skin. Wouldn't have believed it without experiencing the difference in the Blackbird myself. Take care Buddy!
