Doh! I'll need to come back to his video later.

I have the two soap sampled inbound. Don't want to taint my test by seeing your use and thoughts beforehand.

Happy Sunday Dave!

Good idea, looking forward to your thoughts !

****SPOILER ALERT to Soap Testers****
olschoolsteel
Today I decided to use just one of the soaps as I would normally. They are the same except for 1 with Lanolin and 1 with Shea Butter. Not sure which I had but to me, they were nearly if not identical in yesterday's shave that I don't think it would matter. Had a great shave and went with a low structure lather that was wet and SLICK. Post shave feel with nothing is VERY nice, soft and supple ! I will try again tomorrow with this method of loading the brush but again with a synthetic and see if I can get a thicker structure while maintaining hydration and slickness. The Ronson was a great close shave now that I feel it afterwards. I think the injector blade may not be my favorite that I had loaded in it and will need to try another shave with my preferred Injector blade. I don't care for the shave angle it requires to hold the razor at but you can't complain with results like I received.....................................YES I can Big Grin GREAT shave but I would take either of my Shake Sharps over the Ronson ANY day. Still a cool piece of history built to last multiple lifetimes. Have a great day everyone !!

3rd shave with the Sheep fat Test soap and each shave was better than the previous. This last one was everything you would expect from a shave soap. I was able to use a synthetic brush and load it from the bowl as I would from a tub and face lather. I had enough product that it lathered easily for enough to get 3 full passes and some to spare. It was a richer feeling lather and plenty slick enough for me with a nice sheen on the face. For 3 days now I have used ZERO post shave products except for my Humphrey's which is my witch hazel equivalent. My face feels soft and as it should. Not dry and not greasy but just as it should. The scent described to me was nonexistent. The soap was being tested for performance alone but if doing scents I would say that it would need a great deal more to be detectable. That said I would have no problem buying and using this soap exactly as it is and I have ZERO unscented soaps in the den (except for Williams of course). Great job olschoolsteel David and the Soap maker. Have a great day Everyone !

I had one of these seldom seen razors before and the blades available are subpar carpet blades so I sold it. Read about a way to use I think it was an AC Style blade and so have been watching for another to buy. Saw this listed for $10 or best offer. I sent a $15 offer and was told it was declined because they had 5 watchers and they wanted to let the auction run. I preceded to bid $15 and had the high bid at $10. No other bids and I get it cheaper a $10 plus shipping......SCORE ! Now where did I read about using an AC Blade again?..............Off to hunt.

I'm no genius, but I anticipate (and hope for) a video in Dave's future when this new razor arrives...just a hunch!

Love the look of the shade RFB on the brass Karve handle. Like they were meant all along to be paired.
