Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1000

Shave #1000 without missing a shave. As I stated before I believe I am MUCH further than that, but this is what I could state that was documented. As a daily shaver it will go up for sure and is just a marker. Next marker would be the 3 year mark of @1095 I guess (not sure if there is a leap year involved. GREAT shave with the products and tools selected. Have a Stellar day Folks !!!

Razor: Ever Ready 1912 Made in England
Blade: Gem SS (6)
Brush: Graydog Oak
Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: CGF Ghost Town Barber
Fragrance: Scuderia Ferrari Black
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1001

This razor came in a lot purchase. It was in a Gem case but obviously an ER Made in England. It has and aluminum handle which I'm unsure of it being original or not but assume it was as it's in the same immaculate condition as the head. Mild shave with a narrow sweet spot. Pay attention to angle and a GREAT close comfortable shave. Have a GREAT day Guys !

Razor: Clark Improved King
Blade: Gem SS (2)
Brush: Rubberset 400/Oumo Boar
Soap: Williams Shave Stick
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: CFG Ghost Town Barber
Fragrance: Dragonsbeard EDP
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1003

Forget who it was that told me the Improved King is more aggressive and the best shave but they are right on BOTH counts. The shave with this vintage just easily matched the best shaves I've had and can stand toe to toe with the Blackbird Titanium at a fraction of the cost to me. The bigger gap is noticeable and more blade feel for sure but a smooth and glorious shave was had. This vintage is just on another level compared to what's in the vintage Williams bowl soap I have. Not sure what's up with that but I love this stick.

So Jeff got in touch with me and told me about a razor that the person would not ship to him they had for sale if I was interested (Now I know another place he hunts his goodies Smile) It happens to be within 2 hours of me and I'm supposed to go get it this morning. Excited about this score and hoping it doesn't fall thru........Dated 1898 or 1899. Mismatched set perhaps. It's a STAR razor but still happy as it may be the packaging/marketing as "The Gem" is my thoughts. Thanks for the info and heads up on it Jeff, I could hardly sleep ! Edited as Jeff found the add showing it is indeed a Star marketed as "The Gem" Pic added below
