Nice !! Have you tried the Red Tail yet ? Thoughts on it ?

I did a brief, experimental hand lather with the Red Tail.  
It seemed like a superb soap, just ain’t put it to the test yet.  
I promise the RT will be on my wrinkly puss for the Saturday shave.

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 969

So I got my Ugly Duckling Aristocrat back that was on loan and was curious to use it in comparison to the nicer model I had got in a Lot purchase. The nicer condition one was prettier but while a nice shave, didn't seem as smooth and efficient. I have to say that after today's shave, I was puzzled. It shaves so much better than the nicer model. After the shave I did a comparison and they look identical to me. Is it all in my head ? Is it the extra wear on the Ugly Duckling ? I don't know but I guess I'll keep the better shave than I will the better looking model. Makes me leery of sending it off for a makeover too as it would affect the shave. Guess I'll keep it and love it the way it is. Have a great day Guys !!

My experience mirrors yours Dave. 
The ugly ones usually  to try harder to stick around.  Lots of times they leave something behind on purpose.  So they “need” to come back.
