The NFH is the same geometry as that used ih the '34 bakelite handle two-piece, and in the later three piece Coopers. The Conrad patent drawing reflects this NFH design.

I find the gap/exposure of the FH just spot on for me, great feel and efficiency without being threatening. The additional heft and exposure make it a good step up from excellent contemporary razors like the Gillette Short Comb.[Image: e25193d3db9dc8f60c5a11bb591dc9f9.jpg]

Thanks Jeff. So the bump up (circled in red) on the base plate holding the blade a little higher gap wise is the difference if I am understanding this?

Yes it's the channel ahead of the safety bar that alters the gap and exposure on the FH.

Sunday June 13, 2021
Razor: Barbasol Floating Head
Blade: Wizamet (2)
Brush: Rubberset 400/Oumo Boar
Soap: Barron's Choice (Current 1508.5)
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: CHH Tobacco
Fragrance: Scuderia Ferrari Black
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 949

Continued with the Baron's Choice which is such a nice creamy slick soap and fresh clean scent. Another shave with the Barbasol Floating Head razor an better yet as I didn't push the buffing. I got a super smooth shave and while i can see some considering this on the aggressive side, I had no trouble getting a stellar shave and it could be a daily driver for me. I'd like to add one to the den but am in no hurry to over pay now that I got to use one. Again my THANKS to Jorge jorvaljr for trusting me with his and giving me the chance to make an informed decision on getting one for myself. I know there's one on the popular auction site but I can't see paying their price. I want one and will buy one eventually but it will need to be sub $100. Thanks again Jorge and hope your vacation is going well ! Everyone have a GREAT Day !!
