Dave, I have to admit that the Stirling boar I got was my only disappointment with their brushes.  A friend removed the boar and replaced it with a synthetic knot for me.  Maybe you'll have better luck.
I've had it quite awhile but won't give up. I keep working at it, Thanks

I just remembered that I got a boar in the same order as the fabulous Finest I mentioned earlier.  It also had the black stripe and letters, but the same cool looking handle:

$9.95 worth of you get what you pay for on a good day - a very rare disappointment from Rod and Mandy.  I must admit that I finally put mine away and forgot about it, which I guess amounts to giving up on it.

Cool. I most always use the original Mk1.0 with the stacked blades as it's much easier to load than subsequent (GE Jones) models and the head a bit more aggressive to start with -- which the two blades smooths out. I'll have to take out the MK2.0 and see how it works with Polsilvers, don't think I've tried the combo.

Are Stirling Boars still available?  I'd love to get one as I love boar and I love the Stirling handle.  I have a Stirling synthetic which I could reknot with boar if I knew how to reknot and where to get a decent boar knot.  Any tips?
