So got and interesting shave toy/tool in yesterday but need to rewire it if I can get it opened up. Today I wanted to try the Stahly head with a regular handle (Carbon R2) This is a MILD shaver that requires riding the cap to get the blade to engage at all with hair, which isn't a comfortable position for me as it's not the normal hold for me on razors. Still got a close comfortable shave which is nice since the 2 divots taken out of my skin from the Clauss Automatic are still filling in with skin cells and healing. The 1508.5 continues and the death ring seems to hold it's own but we're getting there. Have a swell day Everyone !

The Stahly is mild but (with an ATT handle) I get great close shaves from it. I never particularly noticed a narrower sweet spot than other mild razors but I tend to make adjustments without noticing these things. In any event the fact I have four Stahly heads speaks to how much I dig them.

I've never noticed a difference in shaves based on handle changes as I adapt as needed also. I got a great shave but had to work for it. Glad it's a winner for you

I've never been meticulous enough in my shaves, and thus handles seem to make a difference for me. Probably also why I can't get great tech shaves, Mamba 50 shaves, or anything else fickle. But, I know my weaknesses and can work around them. Lol.
