Interesting, I was never aware of that. Thanks for dropping in Marko

Thanks for letting me drop by. Mike Rowe did one of his The Way I Heard It podcasts on him. Bob Ross. If you’ve not checked out that podcast they’re fun and interesting. They’re always in a bit of a mystery format in that you don’t know who the subject is until the end but they’re only about 12 minutes long so the suspense is bearable. He calls it a podcast for people with a curious mind and a short attention span.

I'm not big on podcasts but may check it out. Everyone is always welcome here!

Yeah but you always leave the door open and the coffee on.

I listen to podcasts mainly while I’m driving. I’ve been listening lately to The Northern Miner podcast mainly since my son is a mining engineer and works in the business. Interesting stuff on both technical and investment sides of global mining. One of my son’s mining profs used to say “if it can’t be grown, it must be mined.” Makes sense

My youngest brother was a safety trainer and taught classes for the Tennessee department of labor division of mines until he got an offer he couldn't refuse with one of the companies he had taught some classes for. Yes the coffee is always hot and the door open. Light-hearted laughter and teasing is encouraged but this is a no judgment zone LOL

You're welcome - I know its a give away but the episode I referred to is #106 Keep Your Voice Down.  I also recommend (with no give away) episode #118 A Rapacious Capitalist.  I recommend them all but that one made me ponder , hmm

IMO Mike Rowe is a breath of fresh air.  FYI he has "The Way I heard it" book too.  The Bob Ross story is in it.

I have some catching up to do in this thread, cruising through this page sounds like I hav been missing out on some fun. I will take a listen to some of the above mentioned suggestions. Nice shave writeups Dave. Enjoy hearing how your shaves go and what you are using. Cool stuff in the rotation, its cool to see the variety throughout the week.

Saturday February 6, 2021
Razor: G.E. Jones Shake Sharp
Blade: Wizamet (Double Stacked)
Brush: SV 2.0 Bamboo
Soap: Lakewood SOCP (1508.5 Project on Steroids)
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Nivea 2 into 1 Splash
Fragrance: Azzaro Visit Edt

This mornings shave was just spectacular except for using the same soap that 'm getting nose blind too..........Great lather and doughnut hole continues to expand. I saw that Jeff Jgreenepa was packing his Shake Sharp with some straights for a road trip and it reminded me I hadn't used it again since it's maiden voyage after purchasing it. Man alive this thing is an amazing tool for me. I'm amazed at how close a shave is gotten with such ease and comfort. So glad I had my curiosity stirred by Jeff and even better that I found such a good example of one for a fair price. Eye's on the lookout for the other versions if I can find one. If not, I'm still tickled to have this one. Biggest problem with the razor is the question, do you consider it a DE or SE ? Big Grin Humphrey's, Nivea and Azzaro Visit rounded out the great shave. Hope all have a great day and weekend !!
