Razor 1: Lupo Dual Comb .95 SB Side only
Razor 2: Yates Precision H Plate
Blade 1: Astra SP (2)
Blade 2: Wizamet (?)
Brush: Rubberset 400 Oumo Boar
Soap: Vintage Williams
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Vintage Aqua Velva
Fragrance: Nautica Blue
1st off the lather was menthol enhanced with some 444 Balm Cream that is mentholated. Great cooling Williams lather set the stage for the comparing of 2 razors.
So I wanted to do a comparison shave and please understand that these are subjective and not a perfect test as you can tend to shave more strokes where you sense you need to to get the end result you are hunting and therefore it's not a perfect test to compare efficiency. I wanted to see if both razors would get me the same end result without irritation. The result "for me" was I got an extremely close shave the way I like. The Yates is the High polished one which I feel may have increased it's efficiency some but also made it not as mindless as it was stock in stonewashed finish. I plan a head to head with both Yates H plates tomorrow to conclude my experiment. Have a great day Guys !!!

Razor 1: Yates Precision H High Polished
Razor 2: Yates Precision H Stonewashed
Blade 1: Astra SP (1)
Blade 2: Astra SP (1)
Brush: Teton Shave Zen Series "Bob Ross"
Soap: Lakewood SOCP (1508.5 Project)
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Terre D'Hermes Splash
Fragrance: Terre D'Hermes EdT
So this morning was a 1st comparison of my 2 H plates of the Yates Precision 921 razor. A great drama free shave was had although a rushed one. I think the High Polish has made the Yates a tad more aggressive but it isn't really noticed until the atg pass where extra care and attention to stretching skin around the chin and mouth are needed more. This was with the Astra blade which I find competent but not as sharp as my preferred Wizamet. I need to redo this test at some point soon with the Wizamets and will. The 1508.5 project for the year resumed with the SOCP and I can seen a much lighter area in the center when held up to the light. Doughnut hole is approaching. Topped off with the Humphrey's and Terre D'Hermes combo. Have a great day Folks !!

Razor : Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade : Wizamet (?)
Brush: Paladin 26mm Vesuvius Chief
Soap: Victory Shaving Co Red Tail
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Nivea Deep
Fragrance: Scuderia Ferrari Black
Just a pleasure to have a choice of variety and thought I'd chose this Mahogany/Coconut scented soap. Mmmmmmmm it smells great and produces a good lather. No muss no fuss shave with the 6s. I'm smooth and smelling good enough to do some things around the house today. After some coffee and White Buttermilk Cake. Take care everyone !
