Razor: YatesPrecision H Plate
Blade: Wizamet (2)
Brush: Graydog Cocobolo
Soap: Ethos Dragonsbeard V2
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Dragonsbeard
Fragrance: Prada Luna Rossa Black

Daddy is sooooo happy to have his Yates back from being on loan. The shave was heavenly smooth and comfortable and yet the closest I've had in weeks as I was waiting to get it back. I need a backup when Jake YatesPrecision gets restocked if I can beat the rush........I also need to see what he has up his sleeve for new things coming.

The soap is probably my absolute favorite scent in the den and in ANY of the 100's of soaps I've used over the past 12-13 years. To try to honor the makers recommendation to NOT bowl load a brush for face lathering and also NOT have to bowl lather which I really don't care for I decided to do the schmear method and take some of the sample of V2 (I have a tub of V1) and smear a dab on each cheek and my chin before proceeding to face lather with my damp brush and slowly add water till I got it where I wanted it. Sorta treated it like a stick in my mind and got a perfect lather for 3 passes and enough left in the brush for another pass or 2 if I needed.............which I didn't. My face afterwards is not only smooth shaven but feels oh so good too. Topped with the Dragonsbeard Skin Food Splash with good nourishment is only going to make it better and smells amazing to boot. Why do I worry about the bottle getting low when i have a backup and Frank is still making it ?? When ordering the DFS collaboration I need to buy the EDP as well (Frank hold 1 for me PLEASE) Meanwhile the Prada Luna Rossa Black is a perfect pairing for it. Honey doos around the house today, Have a Stellar Day DFS !!!

Razor: Yates Precision H Plate
Blade: Wizamet (3)
Brush: Stirling Synthetic
Soap: Stirling Triumph
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Stirling Triumph
Fragrance: Paco Rabanne Invictus

MilkCrate had such a good looking shave yesterday that I had to get out the same set up. Good call Tim ! Love the scent of Invictus which is the inspiration for Triumph and Rod nailed it. I got a creamy and stupid slick lather that let the Yates skate around and do it's thing. Topped with the splash and Invictus has me ready for the day. Inside stuff today as we have a 2 day cold snap and are at 17 degrees this morning but going to the 50's. 32 tomorrow morning as we have another little warm bump in the pattern coming. Stay safe and warm DFS !!!
