Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade: Wizamet (4)
Brush: Heritage Oumo Boar
Soap: T&S Sicily

Just an amazing and refreshing shave today. The new boar brush is already soft and performed well with the T&S Sicily although I did have to go back to the tub for pass 3 which never happens so I'll need o get used to this tall knot and load longer or bowl lather perhaps. Still very happy with it and how quickly it is ready to use and will only get better. The Stirling has been relegated to the fridge in water with hopes of it responding also. The 6s Plate 5 always has been a mindless smooth shaver for me with stellar results and is just more of a pleasure to use now that it has the shiny factor too. Have a STELLAR DAY DFS !!!

Posting Freak
Dave in KY I believe the knot in your brush is the Omega 10098 knot and it will take its time breaking in. I listened to the Lather Talk podcast with the brush maker and he mentioned he used those knots. It’s not clear whether he does any additional treatment. I picked up the Omega 10098?to see if it was as good as he said. I did the cold water treatment and a few test lathers and after maybe 10 uses it’s pretty good. One thing that was really tough is that it was the smelliest boar knot I’ve ever had and the stink persisted longer than I’ve experienced before. Really unpleasant smell. In any case if you persevere I believe you’ll be rewarded.
