Tuesday SEptember 21, 2021
Razor: A Type Schick Repeater
Blade: Schick B Proline
Brush: Mr EE LE Gold
Soap: Rèvolution
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Rèvolution Splash
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,049

So I didn't count before but figured I would have enough to use a different SE Razor each day of SEptember without repeating. I now see with just 9 days to go it will be done easily and still have some that have not been used yet and need to do on video. The B Repeater is a heavy guy being all brass and silver plated. It also requires a slightly different angle than a typical Injector. I got a smooth and comfortable shave from it and glad it's in the den and has a companion Type A coming to join it. I may get a Type C eventually to complete the set of Repeaters. Have a great day everyone and let's "Kick this Pig" !

Some goodies came today:
1st an Coral Oscuro Handle from Stubble Daddy that is more gorgeous in person than pictures capture !

YOU got the Coral Oscuro! Spectacular!

And what a good eye, seeing the Jewel in the "junk"! Looking forward to seeing it polished up and "shiny as a new dime." What a great phrase. Great acquisitions all around!

Thanks Eric and this is Coral Oscuro 2.0, a second pour that Paul did with the same colors. Not the original one his daughter did. Hope we see who got that one post it some day.

Is last Wednesday good enough of a someday? Lol.

Thanks. Yep, it's a beautiful brush. They did a stunning job on it. Hopefully we'll see more like it, even if my wallet cries a bit. Lol.[Image: giphy.gif?cid=349c9dd7fvv6h7cxg2qb5ng9bl...y.gif&ct=g]

2nd a large JUNK Lot of stuff........or is it. It had a razor in  it that isa favorite of mine and while you don't see them normally I saw one I was watching sell for more than I paid for this entire lot today. If you look close you'll see it...........if you know what to look for.......

Among the 15 razors is an A-1 AutoStrop....the 1st Auto Strop produced and a smoooooth shaver. Since they are Silver Plated this should shine like a NEW DIME when done with it's soap soak overnight and hot water, aluminum foil and baking soda bath later.
3RD, I also have an A Model Repeater Razor coming. A,B and C Models of Repeating razors were the predecessors to the Injectors by Schick that used the key. These have the blades stored inside them and load them when  you cock them like a shot gun. Using the B that I acquired recently to shave tomorrow but here is the A that's on it's way along with an old stock new magazine full of vintage blades.

Glad you guys like the Oscuro series. They all have unique names and all have turned out a bit differently.

These are the ones that have been made so far:

Mar Oscuro
Coral Oscuro
Nacar Oscuro

My Daughter came up with the color dye idea and helped make Mar Oscuro.

Tricky to photograph, and like Dave said, look even better in person.

Thanks again for the support guys! I sincerely appreciate it.

Paul

So does the A model use “modern” injector blades?

Modern are slightly narrower I'm told but they all accept the modern blades.

I "liked" it, too! Forgot that Paul gave the handles unique names and was thinking like Dave, V2 versus unique name. And why shouldn't the name be as unique as the handle, right! similar scheme, but not identical. Gotta get out of the corporate, cloned, mindset!
