Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1012

Wanted to revisit the Star Super Six as the last shave with it was incredible and lasted nearly 14 ours which shocked m. Another amazing shave with it and excited to have 2 more OLD razors coming from the same source this one came from. Already sold a couple more modern razors to cancel out the cost. Hope all are enjoying their weekend and have a Great Sunday !

A very nice video! Sounds the the Star Super Six is winner! Are lather catchers always so close and comfy?

Like any razors they have variables between them that can feel different. At least to me !

Got it. I see/experience that with the injectors I have. Two Schick Type G injectors I have shave different, as do different year Slims when I had 3 different quarters from '64. Fortunately, for me, I preferred my birth quarter and kept that one (2 Slims reside in the razor box, one Delta Echo Steampunk, and the other in great condition, with a case and some vintage blades! Both shave similar. I think we talked about this once in a different thread, the coated/treated one shaves a tad differently from the 'naural' one.)

Nice, clean tub! Glad to hear you are getting some pred. That should help a lot.

I used the Haslinger Aloe Vera today again. Builds a good lather, and seems like it can take some water as long as it is added slowly.

Mine was the old formula with Tallow. Is yours the newer vegan? I've never used it.

I believe it is the vegan. I really don't know as it was a gift with an item I got on a BST. Lathers nice, smells nice (very low odor, and just aloe to my nose), good glide and leaves my face feeling fine.
