I have a polished Blackbird and its very nice... I have a machined Dart and the machining marks are very noticeable.

Machined finish = machining marks.

I wasn't complaining. Just asking about the finish on the Ti.

thank you

Didn't think you were! I was just stating that the machined finish on the Ti also has machining marks because it's the machined finish.

I, for one, like machine finished razors much mo’ betta than polished.
The CNC machining process is still amazing to me.
I polish my brass BB, but not my brass Karve.
So I suppose I’m a bit what?  Whacky?

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 953

3rd and unfortunately my final shave with the Blackland Razors Blackbird Ti. I have had the chance to try and buy for $300 a Wolfman and passed on it after shaving with it. I can't see having a razor that costs that much...................but I would be a buyer of one of these if available at the moment. It's that good for me and surprises me to say that. The problem is there are other razors that I have that can do the job at a fraction of the cost and .......................SQUIRREL !! .....................my attention span will no doubt have me questioning this memory of the great shaves and whether it's really worth the price again by the time they are available again. Shane said it would be awhile before another drop after his last drop on June 6th and his awhile is........... A WHILE sometimes. Again my great thanks to Pete Patriot for allowing me to try this great razor. It's packaged up but I do say after 3 shaves it looks a LOT like a worn out Ball End Old Type by Gillette. Odd, I hope it shaves the same as you remember even if it doesn't look the same........Just ignore the slight difference in appearance and shave quality Buddy !  Big Grin Everyone one have a Stupid Fun Day today !!!
