Not yet, but the tiny remains of the sample are sitting on my dresser as a reminder. I need to use the rest of it so I have an excuse to pull the trigger on a full bottle lol.

Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade: Rockwell (1)
Brush: Teton Zen Series "Bob Ross"
Soap: WK King of Bourbon
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Winter Reserve Small Batch Shave Tonic
Fragrance: Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man
So on the Shave Den we're doing a week focus on Rockwell and I thought that meant the Rockwell blades but I misunderstood and was razors too. All I have are the 6s and the 6c which is virtually the same razor. Loaded the 6s, Plate 5 with a fresh Rockwell blade and commenced to some lather building of the WK KoB. Great slick and comfortable lather. The shave was nice and I was impressed with the Rockwell blade which is Swedish Steel. I don't think it's as sharp as the Wizamet but just as smooth. It's been awhile since I've used ANY other blade but I think it may be similar to the Voskhod. That's just from memory and I would need to compare to be sure. I got an amazingly comfortable and close shave and am reminded that if it weren't for the need for variety and changing it up I could be happy with this as my only razor. Trouble is I have several razors that could fill that roll............Oh the conundrum and why we seek variety where we can. Looking forward to the other guys doing the focus and their thoughts. Hope all have a great day !!

I remember all the hype when the Rockwell finally came out. I missed the original drop, but got in on Kickstarter for the Chrome version. I remember threats of banning over at another place for talking about razors that weren't out yet and were being made by soliciting money from people. Fun times.
I also remember lots of dislike for the blades (the ones in the black packaging) I think I might have a hundred yet! But when the razor came, I really liked it. Plates 4 & 5 were my best. But I didn't like the bulky head, especially under my nose. So it moved on after several months, and my Slim remained Top Dog.
However, I believe it is an innovative and great razor. Many say it is IT, even with its industrial look, or because of that look. As with all things in this hobby, the mileage is different for different faces!

I agree... The bulk it daunting. Also, coupled with that is the weight. I don't like a heavy razor and the Rockwell, especially the steel version is a behemoth. Hind sight being 20/20, I should have stayed with the Chrome version. Either way, like MaineYooper I also moved on. I keep holding out hope for a lighter variant: aluminum or Titanium. At this point, doubt it'll happen.
Enjoy your Sunday Dave!

Never fails to get asked this when you have no nose for the game to describe it. Here's a pic of the ingredients.
I get a sweet boozy from it which probably is not accurate and no help. I will say that this is one that really feels like it helps the skin when used as some stuff just smells good. Not as good as Frank's Skin Food Splash but good stuff. And their website with 9 bottles left.
