Razor: EJ DE89
Blade: Wizamet (4)
Brush: Graydog
Soap: Lakewood Smokeberry
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Nivea Deep
Fragrance: Ferrari Scuderia Black

Just a simple and great shave today. I've had several ingrown hairs the past few days and think I need to back off the aggressive skin stretching to get glass smooth shaves. Cutting hair lower than should be has it's penalty for me at least. Have a great day Shavers !

Razor: Krect Spiral Curve Slant
Blade: Wizamet (7)
Brush: MrEE LE
Soap: T&S Sicily
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: T&S Sicily
Fragrance: Paco Rabanne Invictus

Last use for this blade at 7 uses. It was a close comfortable shave until the ATG pass which was fine but a little tuggy indicating it's life was thru. The re-plated Krect gave a nice shave but it's not as smooth as the original one that is on loan to a local friend. I think I want to get the handle of that one re-plated and maintain the original geometry of the head. I'll need to look closer at the 2 and compare when it gets back. 1508.5 continues on day 2 of the Sicily focus. I start this 1508.5 with the tub already showing a doughnut hole but it is deceiving as the tub is domed up in the middle. How long it will take, I do not know but I will conquer it as the 2nd kill of this year at some point. Have a great Tuesday Everyone !

Razor: Ever Ready 1914
Blade: Gem Personna SS (1)
Brush: Klenzo Boar
Soap: Vintage Williams
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Aqua Velva
Fragrance: Nautica Blue

Not much to say about the great lather from vintage Williams. I probably have enough backups for my grand-kids, if I had kids.....The Klenzo with the old and cheap Chinese Boar didn't shed a single hair meaning this one may stay in the brush. I has a HUGE glue bump but still a nice presentation for such a little brush and easily will build and hold 3 passes worth of lather. May need to clean up the handle and refinish at some point as well as Paint the white in the rubber part of the handle. This 1914 is a replacement head for the cased one I bought. If you follow along here you know it had a cockeyed head and while this one looked fine when the blade was loaded, in the end I noticed the same offset on this one. Maybe they are known for it. Still got a great smooth shave as expected but I wish it was straight. The Razorock handle paired well with it. It came in a small lot purchase so it was put to use because............................because I could and like how it looked. Have a Stupid Fun Day Everyone !

The modern handle pairing with the Ever-Ready head looks great! Did it just set right in or did it require some extra messing around with?

Thanks Chris, I have 2 threaded adapters that are required to use a modern handle. One side threads into the head at the size needed and the other is sized for standard modern threads on most handles.
