Hi all,

Mohammad with GroomingDept is having some shipping issues with his soap ingredients that'll prevent him from getting these soaps done in time for our Movember donation drive. We'll do something with Mohammad in the future. That said, he's sending me a few soaps he has in stock so he can still take part in Movember!

On short notice, Shawn (hawns) from Chatillon Lux has agreed to help us out by creating a barbershop aftershave that'll be available in mid-November as part of the DFS donation efforts. A portion of the sales will be donated by Shawn to our Movember team page. I believe Shawn will be offering this up in his post-shave toner, alcohol and salve bases.

Thanks for the help, hawns!!!

Thanks, Andrew, I’m glad to have a reason to finish this formula that’s been getting kicked around

Shawn, thanks for stepping up for us! I'm looking forward to trying a Chatillon Lux barbershop scent. Will it be linked to a historic St. Louis barbershop?

Marko and wyze0ne, the scent will be called Clamorgans, which is the name of the barbershop/bathhouse/gentlemen's accoutrement store (and its proprietors) located at 4th and Pine

Ha, well I probably should have been better in my verb usage. It was located at 4th and Pine, but it's long gone now. If you did go, you would be rubbing elbows with Ulysses S. Grant, Thomas Hart Benton, and Stephen Douglas.

I'd be in good company then right? Why do all the best things fade away? At least we have Chatillon Lux to remind us of how things were. Thanks Shawn.
