Damn Fine Shave free giveaway, July 27th - August 10th *winner announced*

Couple of suggestions

I prefer the Google+ layout over tradition forums. With high volumes I feel like material tends to get burried or lost in dozens of other posts.

I think a chat system should be added, like hangouts

Easier method to add and resize photos: preset sizes such as extra-small, small, medium, or large can quickly resize pics to be more "user-friendly"

I'd like to see a section on face wash as I feel that this is an important part of shaving mostly not discussed.

I would love to see this site add a rating system for shaving products so that anyone who posts can just complete a pre generated form perhaps based on ratings from one to ten and of course a general review of the products.

Basically restating some of the things others have mentioned;
A DIY section would be fantastic. From Soaps to Strops and even straight razor forging. I want all the knowledge.

Regional meet ups would be fun. I've seen a few UK guys on here so that would be cool.

A map of brick and mortar shops would also be appreciated.

Other than that this site is great.

Its hard to give to many suggestions as this forum just keeps getting better and more stuff and content keeps getting added.
A beginners section would be great for guys new to wetshaving with a complete list of all the acronyms and short forms....I know I was super confused by them all when I started and still there are a few that pop up that I don't know.

Damn Fine Shave is holding a free forum giveaway that'll run for 2 weeks (July 27th, 2015 - August 10th 2015).  The winner will be picked using this random number generator and announced on Tuesday, August 11th, 2015.  Admins and Mods on this forum are not allowed to win the items in the contest.  If the random number generator happens to pick a post that is theirs, I'll just refresh the page so it'll generate a new number.

This is a 100% free contest, no purchase is required.  You are required to be a member on Damn Fine Shave before you'll be able to enter the contest.

I'll ship the items outside of the United States, so all users are welcome to enter the contest.

you can do this on your own.

click on your username in the top right> user settings> edit site options > forum display options > adjust "threads per page" option > update options at the bottom

TMatherne , it sounds like its 1024 wide, but not very tall. Try resizing the browser window to about 800px wide; it sounds crazy that you make it smaller to see more but it SHOULD work.

Just for clarification, since nothing had to be changed or improved to the site, does that mean I'm out of the running for the giveaway?
