I think we need to have more "wer shaving meet ups." Maybe create a new section for people to post a meet up?

Btw great pif...

if someone is interested in compiling a list of this, we could easily turn it into a thread where people could add stuff to it quite simply.

One thing that I have a hard time with is using my android device to access the site.  I don't like to use taptalk or anything like that, I use dolphin browser; it always gives me a hard time posting and replying.  I usually read content on the smartphone, then have to wait till I get to a computer to post.  If that could be fixed that would be great!  Thanks for the giveaway, If I where to win I would gift the prize to another to, hopefully, get them into this great hobby, or disorder.......  Wink

what issues are you having when using dolphin? my wife has dolphin on her samsung s4, I'll need to check it out tomorrow after work.

all, just a reminder: if you don't suggest an idea and/or something to improve upon, we cannot enter you in the contest. if the random number generator lands on your post # and you haven't made a suggestion, we'll have to have it pick another number.

My suggestion would be for the"Reply" button to only quote the post you're replying to, not the entire conversation.
Also, it would be nice if the quoted text were a different color than the new post, not just contained in boxes.
Thanks!

1. It would be nice to have a outdoors/shooting sub forum.

2. Maybe a question of the day/week thread. something to get people sharing and talking. could be all shaving related or just random though provoking questions.

also I hope you don't do the facebook set up if you do have it optional and have two set ups. I run a group and I really wish it was more like a forum. the posts get lost and the if you want to find one , you end up spending a long time looking for it. I like the ease of forums and sub forums.

the themes is a good thought.

This is a great idea too. It would be nice to have a place where people can offer opinions on soap, and aftershave pairings. This is especially helpful in the cases of soaps that don't have a OBVIOUS matching aftershave. Great idea, Miles.

I am not absolutely sure it is an issue with the browser or my phone.  My phone is quite old...  When I am trying to reply to posts the cursor keeps going back to the beginning of the line, so that when typing, the words get all jumbled up.  It is quite irritating.  Lol.    I'll try the site on my factory browser to see if I get a different result and report back.

I would personally like to see comparison tables or a continuum, where the items would be placed across it, possible things to compare - blade sharpness, blade smooth/slickness, safety razor aggressiveness, handle length and weight

I'm only 18, I just started using a safety razor so my knowledge is limited, but if someone gave me the information I would happily make the charts or continuum to clearly show the information and post on DFS

I think that would give this site an edge over some of the others

Yep . When using the quote. Things get a little dicey.  Factory browser is a little better though.

Hi Smile

What is the screen size of your device (like is it 800px by 600px?)

The site is set up to be responsive, so it should resize for your screen dimensions. If you could show a screenshot I might be able to help more. What is your browser and OS? If using IE, then you really need to be on IE9+
