Now that really stinks! How long do you have to wait before Bernd can send the order again? Hopefully he'll have the same info that the order is missing & get your order made post haste.

The package made it to Memphis, TN on June 17 and delivery went PENDING. it never changed from that status so I ASSUMED it was awaiting customs clearance.
I decided to call FedEx last night and was told the package should have been delivered on June 19th! They are investigating now.

Kind of my fault for waiting over a month to contact them but I figured this was COVID related. Per FedEx, I emailed Bernd and asked him to call them as well.
I have no idea what happens from this point regarding this package or getting replacement brushes (there were 6 brushes in that package!)

Well, interesting developments here but regarding USPS and boutique firms out of NYC.

Specifically, the firms Shhhowercap and BioLite have taken money for over $100 worth of products then either shipped to the wrong address or lost the order. In both cases, the firms have been completely unresponsive to enquiries as in no response at all. I discovered from the USPS that the one package was misaddressed from Shhhowercap and lost mid shipment from BioLite.  In both cases the companies charged for premium shipping but then sent First Class

Folk, please spread the word far and wide regarding dealing with boutique manufacturers in NYC and these companies in particular. While $100 may not be a lot of money to some, this is a shameful response from them. They deserve to be put out of business before they victimize other customers.

Be careful out there. Appears some shysters are using the COVID crisis to pad their bottom lines

I'm in Canada and I've been waiting for a brush coming from Florida since April 27th. I've received many items from the US since but shipping has been a nightmare lately

Yeah, and a lot of the issues appear to be on the U.S. side of things. To be clear, given my timelines compared to others, I'm not complaining (yet). Just providing an anecdote.

A friend of mine in Hong Kong sent me a package using a local shipping solution via DHL eCommerece, and ultimately USPS for ultimate delivery. He sent it July 6 (my date & time); it milled around HK for several days, but landed in O'Hare in Chicago July 10. DHL tracking shows it seemingly going back and forth between facilities in Chicago area for almost a week, the final activity is from July 16: TENDERED TO DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDER

Nothing since. USPS tracking shows as "Pre-Shipment" with a label printed on July 9.

I've read guys on various fora after the recent Razorock Hawk release of lengthy delays via USPS out of Chicago (apparently Italian Barber shipments all cleared through there?).

I had a USPS Priority Mail package get lost for WEEKS passing through Chicago.

It was originally shipped from another city in Illinois and had to go that way. HORRIBLE.

The company sent a replacement package that arrived on time. The first package finally arrived and I was able to send it back.

Update: FedEx employees will LIE to you!

I was told other day that an investigation was being opened to track and find my missing package. After not hearing from them regarding a case number etc. I called back this morning. Different employee said there was no open investigation and the best he could offer was for me to have the sender refund or replace my lost shipment. Due to continued questions, he transferred me to FedEx International. The very helpful employee confirmed no open investigation, apologized, and then actually opened one up and provided me with the case number.

Less than one hour later FedEx calls stating my package has been found and that it was missing a label or something to that effect. My package will be headed my way soon! (I hope)

Just had a large order from Shavemac delivered with FEDEX. The whole took about two weeks from Germany to me. The package had some delay in the clearance at FEDEX and I had to fill out some extra papers for Homeland Security...but FEDEX did very well and they even contacted me regarding the paperwork and helped me through it.

This was my first issue with FedEx. I completely understand issues will arise but what upset me about this was being told an investigation was being opened, then basically being told to have the shipper eat the cost of FedEx’s mistake, only to have them find it after they did their job.

Still waiting for a 22 May shipment from Hong Kong. The vendor said some other shipments sent to the U.S. around the same time have begun to arrive in recent days. That was about a week ago.

The wait makes one not want to order anything from overseas. Maybe that’s the whole idea?
