From the blog re their new Glide line of soaps:

...we replaced the water portion of  GLIDE shaving cream soap with Aloe Vera Juice and Organic Goat Milk...

Goat milk is particularly prized in a quality shaving soap since it helps to soothe, reduce irritation, moisturize and provide a anti bacterial effect to the skin after a shave. There are other milks used in soaps, mainly donkey milk but none contain the unique skin nourishing properties of goat milk.

The artisan milk thing is certainly taking off.

CRSW was one of the very first artisans to use milk in their shaving soaps. Started about 4 years ago. Why the stopped adding it I don't know. Glad to see they are using it again though. This new soap looks very promising.

A quick google search in various articles I have read praises donkey over goat.

“Donkey milk, which is higher in protein than regular cow and goat milk, is also packed with vitamins and essential fatty acids like omegas 3 and 6. And, because the milk is quite similar in composition to human milk, it’s easily absorbed into the skin.”

Looks like a promising soap but I will admit it got frustrating for me buying jars then watching and trying to keep up with the perpetual changes from this artisan.

A quick google search told me the opposite. Thats neither here nor there as CRSW does not appear to be claiming that goat milk is superior only that, "none contain the unique skin nourishing properties of goat milk".

Trying to pick apart, find fault, discredit CRSW in any way possible seems to be a popular sport!
