I don’t know if there is a market shift or if there are people who have enjoyed the hobby long enough to spend more on a few razors. Being an artisan razor maker is sure not easy and you won’t become rich doing it.
I think people who have been in this hobby for more than three years already have many razors. They prefer buying razors that they personally find special and find enjoyable to use. Buying the same kind of razors isn't as interesting. Newcomers usually look for good value, but because inflation has been going up, there are fewer new people joining the hobby.
