I've seen a couple of these Colorlamb Forester Series razors posted, and it just seemed like a unique one to add to the collection. Razor can be had for under $12 shipped, so why not? I haven't seen too much in the way of reviews with exception to one on YouTube, so I figured I would write up a quick one.

Razor arrived rather quickly and was well packaged. Finish is nice, and it seems well put together. On my scale, the razor weighs exactly 5oz, so a little heft to it. There is a push button lock on the side to open it and allows it to lock in place opened or closed. There is some minimal play in the neck when open but not enough to affect the shave. The small Allen head bolt on the top of the razor head is also a locking push button to fold open and close. Feel in hand is similar to Shick Type A, B, or C injector but a little bulkier yet still comfortable.

The head is magnetic and holds the blade tightly. Fit was perfect for a half DE blade and allowed zero blade play. Though bulky overall, the head is still small enough to get your top lip and other small spaces. Aggression wise, I found it to be mild to mid range. I completed a 3 pass shave that left me BBS with one tiny weaper at my jaw line that a splash of cold water took care of.

Overall, I enjoyed it and am happy to add it to my collection. It won't be a daily driver, but it does what it's made to do and is just gimmicky and unique enough that it's cool to have.

It's a fun razor and definitelya conversation starter. For what it is, I was shocked when it was only $10 and some change shipped.

$17 and change for me when bought. Mines been waiting for time to video it. Price may have gone down some now. Still worth it as a conversation piece from what I've seen.
