You too M'Y'!
So far our storm (MaineYoopers storm too) has been a disappointment and that's good. I was hoping to get rid of most of the snow, but that doesn't appear likely. Right now it's in the high 40s but when the rain stops we're supposed to have plummeting temps and everything will freeze. The wind didn't really start until this afternoon and is still high so we might get a power outage.
The dog... She doesn't like the cold but tolerates it, and is an inside dog. But she absolutely HATES the rain! Went out, realized it was still raining, turned around on the stairs and went right back inside.
Edit: It would have been very nice to have remained disappointed with the storm, but Maine is 90% forest and the odds of keeping our power with these high winds was remote. Maybe 20 minutes ago we had 2, or was it 3(?), outages lasting a second or 2, then out completely. Right now the house is running on solar w/battery backup. If we turn everything but lights, refrigeration, and the water pump off I might not need to start the generator to recharge the batteries. But that's not going to happen until after 8PM.
The dog is on edge. I have no idea why, life goes on. Maybe she picked up vibws from us?
